Grant ASHP & Retro fit Underfloor Heating System

Cool & Easy Renewables were employed to carry out works at a home in Crossmichael, Dumfries & Galloway. This involved a full retro fit Underfloor Heating System and a Grant UK Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP).

Cool & Easy Renewables were requested to carry out a full site survey which incorporated the following

Full heat loss calculation
Full underfloor heating design
Hot water designs calculations
Heat pump design calculations
Sound calculations
System performance calculations

By carrying out the above this gave our customer details to allow them to make an informed decision prior to giving us the go ahead on the project.

The project consisted off removal of all existing heating system, removal of all floors, skirting boards and doors. Supply and installation of a 13kw Grant ASHP, 210Ltr dual coil cylinder (for future solar thermal installation) and a plate underfloor heating system with 2 x manifold kits.

All works were managed by Cool & Easy Renewables, joinery, electrical, ground works and plumbing.

Once the ASHP was in place and commissioned, we carried out a full handover to our client, the total project was carried out within budget and to client’s satisfaction.

Customer now has a full handover pack, MCS certificate, 7 year warranty and a warm energy efficient home.
